Chocolate with nuts and mint on dark wooden backgroundUnion Chocolate has implemented and maintains an ISO 9001:2000-compliant Quality Management System certified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance in cocoa bean processing and the production of chocolate liquor, couverture chocolate, chocolate masses and chocolate according to the HACCP principles.
At the end of 2006, we were among the first confectionery producers to put a certified ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System in place for cocoa bean processing and production of chocolate liquor, chocolate, couverture chocolate and chocolate masses.
We number among the few who satisfy kosher requirements and operate under continuous rabbinic supervision, which opens the doors to virtually all markets around the world for us.
Our continuing quest for quality improvement and compliance with food safety standards in respect of our products have helped us build a platform for cooperation with major domestic and international confectionery companies. Full customer satisfaction is at the heart of our work with our customers, both when determining and setting the most accurate technological parameters and at the stage of practical utilisation of our products.
We have a laboratory department with state-of-the-art equipment where we perform sensory evaluation and physical, chemistry and microbiological testing from raw ingredients through packaging to finished products in accordance with the applicable standards, specifications, contracts or customer expectations. A certificate of quality is issued for each finished product to assure that its characteristics are in compliance with the pre-specified requirements, and the many years of experience of our qualified staff guarantee the proper testing and control procedures of the production process..
